Belinda is the Clinical Director. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, PhysioFirst and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sport and Exercise Medicine. Belinda
graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Leeds in 1986 and worked in hospitals in York and Leeds before leading the musculoskeletal physiotherapy service at Seacroft Hospital. She formed the Wetherby Physiotherapy Practice as Principal Partner in 1996 and createdBelinda MilliganPhysiotherapy Ltd, Wetherby in 2013.


Belinda has clinical expertise is neuromusculoskeletal conditions. She has several post graduate qualifications in the assessment, treatment and management of acute and chronic joint and muscular dysfunction. She has studied Clinical Pilates and has been qualified in the clinical use of acupuncture since 1996.


James MilliganJames Milligan

James graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist at the West Middlesex University Hospital in 1986. He worked in a variety of acute hospital and community settings across West Yorkshire. He is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. James has several post graduate qualifications in manual therapy concepts developed by Maitland, McKenzie, Cyriax and has expertise in exercise rehabilitation.
James is a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Metropolitan University and previously worked at University of Huddersfield. He has been Course Leader of physiotherapy programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and has taught physiotherapists, sport therapists, podiatrists, occupational therapists and nurses.


Additionally, he has worked in the Sports Injury Treatment Centre at Leeds Metropolitan University. In a quality assurance role James has had External Examiner responsibilities for physiotherapy courses for three other universities since 2007 and has interest in evidence-based practice.
