Acupuncture Treatments

Acupuncture: we are specialists in the use of clinical acupuncture which we use to target specific pressure points and stimulate nerve endings throughout the body. This stimulates the body’s natural pain relieving chemicals (which include endorphins, melatonin and serotonin) to help the body's natural healing mechanisms and pain suppressing processes. Trigger point acupuncture is used specifically to facilitate relaxation in specific muscles for longer-term unresolved muscle pain, or as a means of increasing muscle length in order to aid stretch and rehabilitation.
Within a treatment we apply single-use, pre-sterilised disposable needles. These may be left in position for 20 minutes before being removed.
